On Feb. 3, 2025, a new era in USA Softball began with CEO Craig Cress naming Patty Gasso head coach for the USA Softball Women’s National Team as they begin the journey to the LA28 Olympic Games. Calling it a “dream come true” for her career, Gasso is ready to lead the Eagles to gold, taking the baton from those before her and is driven to lead the team to their most successful years in program history while she is at the helm.

In Coach Gasso’s introductory press conference, she confidently stated that she doesn’t just believe – she knows – that Team USA will put in the hard work necessary to earn the Gold Medal in LA28. After being in attendance of the first appearance by USA Softball in the Atlanta Olympics, Gasso has had a vision and a dream, and starting in 2025 – you can be a part of it.
Training & Well-Being
To be elite, you must train with the elite and USA Softball’s mission is to give the U.S. Women’s National Team athletes the best experience available through top trainers, nutritionists, mental health professionals and year round access to health care. Donating to USA Softball’s Training & Well-Being puts the program one-step closer to winning gold.
Travel & Transportation
Whether it is an international competition on the other side of the world or for the Women’s National Team Camps in Oklahoma City, our athletes are expected to travel the globe while wearing the Red, White and Blue. Supporting Team USA’s travel and transportation is integral in the continued success of the program, allowing the team to compete against the best in the world.
Train At Home
USA Softball’s ultimate goal is to keep Team USA athletes in the United States year round to train and practice. Sponsoring a roster spot would do just that, allowing athletes to stay in the U.S. to become the best-of-the-best with access to state of the art facilities, housing, training programs and team camps all while staying close to family and friends throughout the process.
