2025 Women’s College World Series
The Women’s College World Series (WCWS) is the premier postseason tournament for NCAA Division I softball, where the best college teams in the country compete for the national championship. Held annually in June, the WCWS features eight teams that advance through regional and super regional rounds to earn a spot in the tournament. The series is played at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and is a showcase of elite athleticism, strategy, and passion for the sport. The teams play in a double-elimination format, with the top two teams ultimately facing off in a best-of-three championship series to determine the national champion. The event is a highlight of the collegiate softball season and attracts large crowds, television audiences, and significant media attention, celebrating the growth and popularity of women’s sports.
