OKLAHOMA CITY – As the season is fully underway, USA Softball has announced new leadership in Tennessee and Florida among its associations.

In 2025, Tennessee will now be divided into three associations – East, Central and West – with two commissioners in place and USA Softball seeking a third.

Tim Doby will take on East Tennessee with Deena Poole serving as the acting commissioner for Central Tennessee. USA Softball will also be starting the process of looking for volunteers to take on the commissioner role in West Tennessee.

Jessica Seriano will also be taking on the role of Director for USA Softball of Florida moving forward.

For those interested in the commissioner position in West Tennessee, please apply at this link.

What They Are Saying…

Tim Doby, East Tennessee Commissioner
“I am honored to be selected to lead our new association in east Tennessee. By separating Tennessee into three associations, we will be able to better serve all the teams throughout the state. All three associations must get back to the grassroots in their areas and build the team base and form trust in what USA Softball can provide them. We all have a lot of hard work ahead of us to gain that trust and splitting Tennessee up is the first and most important step to help us achieve our goals. It is my privilege to add USA Softball of East Tennessee under my leadership as I continue to oversee USA Softball of the Carolina’s as well. We are looking forward to many Tennessee teams at the U-14 and U-18 USA Softball ‘A’ National this July in Johnson City.”

Jessica Seriano, Florida Director
“As I step into this new role with USA Softball of Florida, I am excited to help create opportunities for players to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Softball has always been a passion of mine, and now I have the chance to support athletes in Florida as they work to reach their dreams on and off the field. My vision for the program is centered on the players. I want to build an environment where they have the resources, support and opportunities they need to succeed at every level. This transition represents an exciting opportunity for the softball community in Florida. Together, we can create a culture where every player has the chance to achieve their personal goals and where the sport continues to grow in the state.”
