OKLAHOMA CITY – Announced today by the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), Dejah Mulipola and Kiki Milloy have been selected as semi-finalists for the AAU James E. Sullivan Award.
The AAU James E. Sullivan Award honors an outstanding athlete in the United States and is based on athletic achievements and qualities of leadership, character and sportsmanship. Past winners include Caitlyn Clark (2022), Simone Biles (2020), Tim Tebow (2007), Peyton Manning (1997), Michael Phelps (2003) and dozens of others.
Semi-finalists were selected based on athletic performances throughout 2023. The public selects the award finalists and winner. The first round of voting runs from February 14, 2024 – February 21, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. EST. The winner of the award will be determined through a second voting period in mid-March.

Dejah Mulipola, member of the U.S. Women’s National Team, has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 94th Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) James E. Sullivan award!
Mulipola shined bright for the Eagles during the 2023 season at the Pan American Games — leading the tournament leaderboard in 6 offensive categories while tallying four home runs in a single game against Puerto Rico — sending one over the fence in all four of her at-bats — a feat that landed her on the All-Pan Am Team.

Kiki Milloy, member of the U.S. Women’s National Team and University of Tennessee outfielder, has been selected as a semi-finalist for the 94th Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) James E. Sullivan award!
Milloy led all Division I players with 25 home runs in 2023 – setting a Lady Vols single-season record. A consensus first-team All-American, Milloy hit .406 and set another Tennessee single-season record with 86 runs scored. The NCAA statistical champion in home runs also led all of Division I softball in runs per game, scoring 1.41.
The Sullivan Award winner will be announced on Tuesday, April 23 at the New York Athletic Club in New York City.
