OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – USA Softball announced an exclusive partnership with Trackman today, allowing the athletes and coaches in USA Softball’s national teams programs continue the upward trajectory of technology in the game to grow through its groundbreaking ball tracking system.

“We are thrilled to be adding another industry leader in technology to our national team’s arsenal with Trackman becoming a partner with USA Softball,” Chief Executive Officer for USA Softball, Craig Cress, said. “The goal is to always grow and support the sport of softball, and doing that through upgraded technology that will be available for our national team athletes and coaches to enhance their game will be integral as we move toward 2028.”

Originally developed in the game of golf, Trackman has exceeded expectations and expanded to other sports, including softball, baseball, soccer and American football. Not only has the technology changed the way sports are played, taught and viewed on live broadcasts, but it has enhanced the sport of softball to another level.

“Trackman is proud to partner with USA Softball to deliver elite ball-tracking technology to their players, coaches and national teams,” Business Development Coordinator for Trackman, Beth Mullins, said.” Together, we are committed to advancing the game through innovative technology and data-driven insights – enhancing the experience for athletes, coaches and fans alike.”

With access to Trackman’s B1 Portable system for practices, softball athletes and coaches will be able to learn off an optically enhanced radar technology that provides superior tracking of the entire ball trajectory, proving crucial for today’s modern pitch design and player development.

In addition to a portable system, Trackman offers the V3 Game Tracking system, allowing full-field, in-stadium coverage, including full ball-flight tracking. The technology is currently embedded in over 500 stadiums around the globe, proving that the data can be trusted.

About Trackman

Since 2003, through the relentless desire to seek, to probe, to test and to push, Trackman has expanded to multiple sports with those traits remaining at the heart of the company philosophy. With groundbreaking technology that has enhanced the games of golf, baseball, softball, soccer and American Football, their business now leads the industry and has changed the way the games are played.
