OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball has announced a new partnership with Solaro Shades today, an Oklahoma-based performance eyewear brand, naming the company an Official Partner of USA Softball.

The partnership will officially being Dec. 1, 2026, and will connect Solaro Shades with USA Softball athletes, coaches, officials and fans through a variety of grassroots initiatives, events, and retail activations.

“We are excited to welcome Solaro Shades to the USA Softball family as an Official Partner,” USA Softball Chief Executive Officer, Craig Cress, said. “Our athletes compete in demanding environments where vision, comfort and performance matter, making this partnership a natural fit. Solaro Shades shares our commitment to providing athletes with the tools they need to perform at their best, and we look forward to representing their brand alongside the USA Softball community.”

Through the partnership, Solaro Shades will provide eyewear to support USA Softball programming throughout the year, including the USA Softball High Performance Program National Selection Event. Additional product will also be utilized for retail opportunities and other programming across the organization.

“When it comes to gear, softball is an underserved market, especially in eyewear,” Jesse Haynes, Co-Founder of Solaro Shades, said. “For years, female athletes have often been asked to wear sports sunglasses that were designed primarily for male baseball players. We believe softball athletes deserve products created with their fit, style and performance needs in mind. Partnering with USA Softball is an incredible opportunity to support the athletes who are growing the sport we love.”

Solaro Shades will have a presence at select USA Softball events hosted at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, including promotional branding and digital signage with products also being available through the USA Softball Team Store.

The partnership will additionally place an emphasis on education surrounding performance eye protection with USA Softball and Solaro Shades collaborating on digital content that will provide the softball community with information and resources related to eyewear and eye protection.
