OKLAHOMA CITY — The USA Softball High Performance Program (HPP) Top Performers Camp is underway as athletes from across the country arrive in Oklahoma City for four days of elite training and development. Slated for June 22-25, more than 70 Top Performers from the 2025 HPP National Selection Event have earned invitations to participate in the camp at Devon Park.

The camp opened this evening with a welcome meeting and educational session. Athletes will hit the field tomorrow for a full day of instruction, including mental performance sessions led by Julie Jones, throwing instruction from High Level Throwing, hitting development and defensive skill work. Wednesday and Thursday will feature scrimmages, along with bullpen sessions and additional defensive work. The 2026 U-18 Women’s National Team (WNT) will also participate in scrimmages and training sessions.
Throughout the week, athletes will work alongside top-tier coaches and performance experts, including U.S. Junior Women’s National Team staff: head coach Kyla Holas, Jillian Callaway, Alisa Goler, Kelly Kretschman and Iyhia McMichael.
U.S. WNT Coaches in attendance include J.T. Gasso (Oklahoma), Chris Malveaux (Auburn) and Jen Rocha (Oklahoma), as well as U.S. WNT Strength and Conditioning coach, Kelly Borges. Additional performance staff includes SSB Performance’s Julie Jones, High Level Throwing’s Austin Wasserman, Shannon Doherty (Florida Atlantic), Christian Bernabe (UCF) and registered dietitian Michelle Tillinger (Mercy). Members of the Junior Women’s National Team Selection Committee (JWNTSC) will also be in attendance.
Dubbed the Pipeline to the Women’s National Team Program, the HPP was created in 2020 to identify a pool of athletes to train, compete and represent USA Softball in domestic and international competition. The program focuses on providing an equal opportunity for players to showcase their talent while growing the game of softball in the United States.
