OKLAHOMA CITY — Members of the U.S. Women’s National Team athlete pool have arrived in the Softball Capital of the World® for a three-day voluntary camp. Taking place from April 16-19 in the Oklahoma City Metro Area, athletes will participate in a series of training sessions and simulated games at Devon Park and the University of Oklahoma’s Love’s Field.
The voluntary camp will host 14 athletes from seven NCAA Division I universities across four athletic conferences: Atlantic Coast Conference (1), Big 12 (1), Big Ten (5), and Southeastern Conference (7). The list of attendees accepted invitations based on their availability, and it is subject to change due to scheduling conflicts and updated athlete availability.
Coaches selected to lead the camp include Patty Gasso, head coach at Oklahoma and WNT head coach, as well as coaches from the selection pool, including Lincoln Martin, John Bargfeldt, Jen Rocha, JT Gasso and U.S. Olympian Kelly Kretschman.
