OKLAHOMA CITY – The 2025 event season at Devon Park is set to begin with a weekend of intense competition as the Hosea Bell Red Dirt Classic returns to the diamond. This two-day round-robin tournament will showcase nine collegiate programs, including two Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), delivering fast-paced action and competitive play to begin the season.
The Hosea Bell Red Dirt Classic marks the official start of a jam-packed year of softball action at Devon Park. The venue will once again be a hub for top-tier competition, hosting a wide variety of events throughout the year. This season-opening tournament provides teams with a chance to test their skills early this Spring while giving fans a first look at the talent taking the field in 2025.
Play begins Friday, February 28, with first pitch at 10 a.m. as Mid-America Christian University takes on Bethel College, while Langston University squares off against McPherson College. Games will continue throughout the weekend, delivering back-to-back action for those in attendance.
Tickets can be purchased online through SeatGeek or at the gate—$20 for a daily pass and $30 for a weekend pass—all session weekend passes will be on sale until noon on Friday. For those unable to attend in person, free live streaming will be available at usasoftball.tv.
