OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma (October 23, 2024) — The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) High School Fast Pitch State Championships delivered a thrilling week of softball at Devon Park, with teams across Classes A through 6A competing for state titles from October 10-19. Fans witnessed incredible performances as champions were crowned, and standout athletes emerged, making this year’s tournament an unforgettable event.
The action kicked off with Classes A, B, and 2A taking the field from October 10-12. Class A saw intense competition, with top teams vying for the championship title — Class B and Class 2A brought their best to Devon Park’s OG&E Energy Field and INTEGRIS Field. Champions were crowned on Saturday, October 12, after two days of nail-biting games that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The excitement ramped up again during the second leg of the tournament, which took place from October 17-19 — Classes 3A, 4A, 5A, and 6A took center stage. Spectators were treated to powerhouse pitching, clutch hitting, and dramatic finishes across every division. Teams gave it their all as they fought for a chance to stand atop the podium.
In the small school division — Caddo (A), Dale (2A), and Stuart (B) took home state titles for their respective Classes. In the big school division — Lone Grove (3A), Weatherford (4A), Pryor (5A), and Owasso (6A) all finished the weekend as State Champions.
The tournament concluded on Saturday, October 19, with final matchups for each class bringing the event to a dramatic close. Fans were treated to a showcase of Oklahoma’s best high school softball talent. Devon Park once again proved why it is known as the Softball Capital of the World®, hosting yet another successful OSSAA State Championship Tournament that will be remembered by athletes and fans alike.
