VERO BEACH, Fla. – Members of the U-23 Men’s National Team (MNT) have arrived in Vero Beach, Fla. for a series of exhibition contests against Team Canada slated for April 9-10. Held at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC), the U.S. will look to build its resume of international competition with two days of doubleheaders against the Men’s Canadian National Team thanks to funds raised by the U-23 Men’s National Team program throughout the last three years.

Team USA will kick off the action on Sunday, April 9 with a doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET followed by another doubleheader on Monday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. ET. Game two for both days will take place approximately 35 minutes after the conclusion of game one with live stats and live streaming available through the U-23 Men’s National Team Gamechanger.
Previously announced by USA Softball, the 15-player U-23 MNT roster marks the first of its division in USA Softball history with five members joining Team USA for the first time in their careers while 10 veterans return to the Red, White and Blue after competing in previous seasons. At the helm of the U.S. roster will be previously announced head coach Tim Lyon, marking his seventh stint as head coach for the Men’s National Team program. Lyon will be joined by assistant coaches Tommy Crouch, Mike Hopkins and Chase Turner who each step into their first season on a U.S. MNT coaching staff.
Athletes selected to the U-23 MNT are part of the USA Softball athlete pool, having attended previous softball camps and clinics, league softball events and/or attended events coordinated by USA Softball.
