Holding multiple positions in USA Softball of Northern California for over 36 years, John Miller enters the Hall of Fame after making a life-long contribution to the sport of softball.
- Began his time as the Assistant District Commissioner for Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties from 1976-1979.
- Named District Commissioner for Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties from 1980-1999.
- Northern California State At Large Player rep from 1990-1998, also serving as the Northern California Commissioner (28 counties) from 1999-2008.
- Earned the James Farrell Award of Excellence for Top National Tournaments from 2005-07.
- Won the Benchmark Registration Award for Northern California eight years in a row (2000-07).
- Also served on the ASA/USA Board of Directors as the Western Territory Vice President (2005-08).
- Served as a chair for both the Membership and Commissioner committees.
- Worked for the USA Softball National Office as the Director of Membership Services, eventually taking on the title of Chief Operating Officer.
- Served on multiple national committees, including testing and equipment, insurance, tournament organizing and ethics.
