USA Softball will implement a brand-new championship format, culminating in the crowning of the one true National Champion in each Junior Olympic age group (10-Under through 18-Under). While territorial championships will continue in the North, South, East, and West territories for both Class A & Class B divisions — the newly established Girls National Championship will be recognized as the premier competition — naming one true champion in each age group.
