OKLAHOMA CITY – Returning to Oklahoma City for the third-straight year is the prestigious USA Softball GOLD National Championships set to take place July 14-21, 2024. The week-long competition will see top teams in the 16-Under and 18-Under divisions gather from coast-to-coast – battling it out for the coveted National Championship title. USA Softball will look to crown the 11th champion in the 16-Under division and the 31st champion in the 18-Under division as games will take place at the Hall of Fame Complex located at the center of Oklahoma City’s exciting Adventure District.
“The GOLD National Championship is the top event in our USA Softball Junior Olympic Championship Play and we are thrilled to welcome it back to Oklahoma City for the third-straight year,” said USA Softball Chief Executive Officer, Craig Cress. “Not only is it exciting for these athletes to earn a GOLD National Championship title, but to do so at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium where they have seen their heroes play is a special opportunity. We’re excited to watch and showcase these elite teams from all across the country as they earn their spot at the Softball Capital of the World®.”
The USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex first welcomed the GOLD National Championships to Oklahoma City in 1994 while this year’s event returns to the legendary venue for the 13th time. The Softball Capital of the World® holds an impressive resume – also playing host to some of the top softball competitions in the world, including the NCAA Women’s College World Series, International Cup, various USA Softball National Championships and a pre-Olympic “Stand Beside Her” tour stop for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Softball Team.
The 2024 GOLD National Championships will include 48 berths for each competing division with each team earning a berth through a network of Regional qualifying tournaments and allocated berths.
