2025 Women’s Open, C&D Slow Pitch National Championships
The USA Softball Women’s Class Open National Championship is a prestigious annual tournament that showcases elite women’s slow pitch softball teams from across the United States, featuring top teams competing for the national title in a double-elimination format. Ooh Got Em struggled with pitching, as Makayla Hughes allowed 13 runs over three innings. The Pack capitalized with a disciplined approach, drawing 14 walks and showcasing solid defense. | ||
T24/Native Outlasts Monsta/Dirty Sports in a Slugfest: In a high-scoring clash, T24/Native outlasted Monsta/Dirty Sports 20-10. Angelia Jones led T24/Native with four hits, including a home run, while Patrika Barlow contributed four RBIs. Despite Monsta/Dirty Sports’ efforts, including a strong performance from Meagan Pearson and Karina Rocha, their pitching struggled under the relentless T24/Native offense, which amassed 27 hits. | ||

Derby Girls/Easton/Miken/Worth/OA Apparel Dominates Monsta/Dirty Sports Derby Girls/Easton/Miken/Worth/OA Apparel put on a dominant display, defeating Monsta/Dirty Sports 18-4. Megan Baltzell led the charge with two home runs and four RBIs, showcasing her power with long balls in the third and fifth innings. Monsta/Dirty Sports initially took the lead with Karina Rocha’s double in the first inning. However, Derby Girls/Easton/Miken/Worth/OA Apparel responded swiftly. Carmen Fowler’s triple in the second inning scored two runs, and Celine Kealiinohomoku added another run with a sacrifice fly. The game shifted decisively in the third inning, as Derby Girls/Easton/Miken/Worth/OA Apparel scored four runs on five hits. Baltzell’s solo homer was complemented by Terri Ross’s double, Randi Pauly’s sacrifice fly, and Amanda Lynch’s single, extending their lead. T24/Native quickly took control with a 3-1 lead, thanks to an error and hits from Angelia Jones and Tara Licuanan. Dani Wayt’s double in the second inning tied the game, but T24/Native regained the lead with RBIs from Amy Reynolds, Kimberly Spivey, and Patrika Barlow. Finau’s solo home run in the third was not enough as T24/Native added runs from Licuanan and Jessica Beaver.
