- What does it mean for you to represent the United States? “It almost seems unreal. I haven’t had a chance to really embrace this reality. I love showing pride for my teams and now I have a chance to play with pride for my country.”
- What do you most enjoy about softball? “The speed of the game. The fact that all nine players on the field have to engage to make a play happen, how important each out is, and how much one run can mean.”
- How did you get started playing softball? “My dad has been playing Men’s Fast Pitch since 2008 and watching him come home and talk about it. He invited me to play in a league at 14-years-old and I’ve loved it ever since.”
- Did you play any other sports growing up? “Baseball”
- What is the best piece of advice you ever received? “Every defeat is a learning experience and every accomplishment is an opportunity to improve.”
- What’s your personal motto? “A mistake is proof that I tried.”
