OKLAHOMA CITY – Following Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, August 8, USA Softball has welcomed coaches, umpires, fans and athletes to the eighth-annual USA Softball All-American Games at Devon Park in the Softball Capital of the World®. Scheduled to run August 8-11, this premier 12-Under event showcases 361 of the top 12-under athletes split across 24 teams battling it out for the trophy.

Each athlete at the 2024 All-American Games was selected for the event by their designated USA Softball Region to represent their geographic area, with additional at-large bids given to regions with the highest registration. The event ranks as one of the most prestigious in its age group – as the selection process creates a stage for elite-level competition and opportunities for athletes to gather from across the country.
The 2024 All-American Games kicked off with Opening Ceremonies on Thursday, August 8 as the teams joined in on the action with check-ins, practices, and a variety of fun activities. Athletes were also welcomed to an All-American Games alumni meet-and-greet, carnival-style games, and vendor activations while competing in three individual skill events: base running, pitching and hitting with one team skill event – “around the horn.” The top three participants in each category advanced to a live competition on the OGE Energy Field during the Opening Ceremonies.
Pool play is set to begin on Friday following a short weather delay, with 12 games being played across four fields to determine seeding ahead of bracket play. Friday and Saturday contests will be split among traditional pool-play and non-seeded pool-play games, with all non-seeded pool-play contests taking place on OGE Energy Field to ensure all participants have a chance to play at the legendary venue. A single elimination tournament will begin Sunday at 8 a.m. before crowning an All-American Games Champion on OG&E Field at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available to purchase on-site starting at $10 for a daily pass and $30 for a weekend pass (Thu. – Sun.). Parking and entry for children eight and under are free for the event.

USA Softball’s 2024 All-American Games Opens Pool Play
OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball opened pool play of the 2024 All-American Games at Devon Park on Friday. Twelve games were played across four fields while five showcase games took place on OG&E Field. Ongoing weather forced the games to pause for four hours before resuming at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Region 3 Stars, Region 7 Stripes, Region 9 Stars, Region 9 Stripes maintained the advantage ahead of final seeding Saturday, winning their first games.
The Region 9 Stars will square off against the Region 3 Stars while the Region 9 Stripes face the Region 7 Stripes, both at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The Region 6 Stars will face the Region 5 Stars while Region 5 Freedom challenge Region 3 Freedom and Region 8 Stars take on Region 4 Stripes, all at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Region 1 Freedom, Region 1 Stars, Region 1 Stripes, Region 2 Stars, Region 2 Stripes, Region 4 Stars, Region 5 Stripes, Region 6 Stripes, Region 7 Stars, Region 8 Stripes, Region 10 Freedom and Region 10 Stars will continue their quest for ideal seeding on Saturday.
Region 8 Stripes match up against Region 6 Stripes while Region 1 Stripes face Region 2 Stripes and Region 1 Stars square off against Region 5 Stripes, all at 8 a.m. on Saturday.
The Region 2 Stars will take on Region 1 Freedom while Region 4 Stars challenge Region 10 Freedom and Region 7 Stars square off with Region 10 Stars, all at 12 p.m. on Saturday.

USA Softball’s 2024 All-American Games Continues with Day Two of Pool Play
OKLAHOMA CITY – Day two of the USA Softballs 2024 All-American Games continued Saturday at Devon Park. Nineteen games were played across four fields, while five showcase games squared off on OG&E Field. Due to expected rain, the tournament’s second round was delayed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Region 5 Freedom, Region 7 Stripes, Region 4 Stripes, Region 5 Stars, Region 3 Stars and Region 10 Stripes all went a perfect 2-0 in pool play, earning themselves a first-round bye in Sundays’ Championship bracket.
Region 9 Stripes and Region 6 Stars, each with a 1-1 record, also earned a first-round bye.
In the first round of Sundays’ bracket play, Region 10 Stars meet the Region 1 Stars, Region 2 Stars will battle Region 4 Stars, Region 6 Stripes will compete against Region 2 Stripes, Region 3 Stripes will take on Region 9 Stars, Region 5 Stripes set off against Region 7 Stars, Region 10 Freedom duals off against Region 1 Freedom, Region 1 Stripes will face off against Region 8 Stripes and Region 3 Freedom will square off against Region 8 Stars.

USA Softball Wraps Up 2024 All-American Games
OKLAHOMA CITY – Day three of the USA Softball 2024 All-American Games concluded Sunday at OGE Stadium at Devon Park. After heavy rainfall Saturday night into Sunday morning brought 4 ½ inches of rainfall to the area, the three back fields at Devon Park were unplayable.
Given the field situation, the USA Softball Committee decided that the six number one seeds in the tournament would square off Sunday to determine an ultimate All-American Games champion.
After extensive field work by Devon Park’s field crew to prepare the playing surface, first pitch of championship Sunday got underway at 2 p.m. CT at OGE Stadium at Devon Park.
Sunday’s slate of games featured the Region 5 Stars, Region 3 Stars, Region 10 Stripes, Region 5 Freedom, Region 7 Stripes and the Region 4 Stripes.
The first game of the day resulted in a 4-2 Region 5 Stars victory over the Region 3 Stars. The 4 p.m. game ended in dramatic walk off fashion as a sac fly secured a Region 10 Stripes 3-2 victory over the Region 5 Freedom.
The 5 p.m. game between the Region 5 Stars and the Region 7 Stripes resulted in a 7-1 Region 5 Stars victory allowing them to punch their ticket to the championship game. The Region 5 Stars offense scattered nine hits while their pitching and defense only gave up two hits.
The 7 p.m. game resulted in a Region 10 Stripes 5-3 victory over the Region 4 Stripes. The Region 10 Stripes blasted 7 hits in route to their semi-final victory allowing them into advance to the championship game.
The 8:45 p.m. championship game featured a matchup between the Region 10 Stripes and the Region 5 Stars. The Region 5 Stars took home the hardware after defeating the Region 10 Stripes by a score of 2-0 while scattering seven hits throughout the game to secure the victory.
Ella McConnell went 2-for-3 at the plate while Laney Driskill went 2-for-2 with a double and one run scored. Reagan Christopherson went the distance for the Region 5 Stars in the circle with 6.0 innings pitched, no runs allowed, and struck out 10 to cap off her team’s championship victory.
