The name of Jody Trimmer is synonymous with the slow pitch game as she played in twenty-four Women’s Major/Open Division National Championships. A twelve-time All-American, she was also a member of two ASA Major National Championships and a five time National runner-up. Her softball career continued as she played in six Women’s 35 & Over National Tournaments, capturing six consecutive titles (a 31-2 record) and four All-American honors. Jody then competed in the Women’s 50 & Over Major and 55 & Over Major Slow Pitch Nationals as a member of one National Championship team and one runner-up team. A home grown star in York, Pennsylvania, Jody played in the famous York Softball League during her star studded career. Only two women in the history of ASA/USA Softball Women’s Slow Pitch have earned more accolades than Jody – the legendary Christan Dowling and Sue Ilyes.
