The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) bounced back in dominant fashion at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup, securing the bronze medal in a 4-0 shutout victory over Mexico. The Eagles close out the tournament with a 7-2 record and earn their second medal in U-15 World Cup history – earning gold in the 2023 edition.

Team USA opens U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup with dominant 16-1 run-rule victory over Chinese Taipei
MILAN, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) kicked off the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup in commanding fashion, posting a 16-1 run-rule win over Chinese Taipei in three innings. With a relentless offensive performance and a sharp defensive effort, Team USA sealed the three-inning run-rule behind perfect multi-hit outings at the plate from Ashleigh Bronowicz (2-for-2) and Khloe Williams (2-for-2).
Chinese Taipei struck first with one unearned run in the top of the first. Team USA answered back with five runs in the bottom of the first, highlighted by a three-run blast from Williams and a single from Eicholtz (2-RBI). The Eagles kept the bats hot in the second inning, collecting 11 runs that saw contributions from nearly every spot in the lineup. Williams (6), Eicholtz (2), Eichholz (2), Soto (2), and Saenz (2), each tallied multiple RBIs on the day. In the circle, Braelyn Johnson earned the win, with just one unearned run – the only blemish on an otherwise clean performance. With a total of 16 runs on 13 hits and a powerful 11-run second inning, the Eagles made a compelling statement to open their World Cup run.

Team USA improves to 2-0 at U-15 WBSC World Cup following 8-0 run-rule victory over Canada
MILAN, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) continued to prove dominant at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup with an 8-0 run-rule win over Canada (five innings). Fueled by a late offensive surge and a dominant pitching performance, Team USA remains undefeated through Game 2 of Opening Round.
The Eagles got on the board early thanks to a sac-fly from Khloe Williams paired with some heads-up base running from Michaela Landers (2-for-4) in the top of the first. The Canadian defense was able to silence the U.S. bats through the third inning before Landers broke the silence in the top of the fourth by causing a fielding miscue that saw two runs in — extending the U.S. lead, 3-0. The bats came alive in the top of the fifth as the Eagles pushed five runs across the plate, featuring a three-run long ball from Allison Eicholtz (1-for-2) before back-to-back doubles from Mia Ennis (1-for-2) and Landers capped the scoring. The offense combined for eight runs on six hits, while Leona Eichholz went the distance in the circle — allowing just three hits through five innings while striking out eight and issuing no walks. The U.S. defense remained solid behind her, keeping Canada off the board and securing the run-rule win in the bottom of the fifth.

Team USA improves to 4-0 at the 2025 WBSC U-15 Women’s World Cup after back-to-back shutout wins over Czechia and Singapore
MILAN, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) extended its perfect record at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup with a pair of three-inning run-rule victories over Singapore (15-0) and Czechia (15-0). Behind two explosive offensive performances and strong outings in the circle, the Eagles improved to 4-0 with another dominant performance on the world stage.
Team USA set the tone early in Game 1 against Czechia, pushing across a run in the bottom of the first on an RBI single from Melody Soto. The offense came alive in the second inning with five runs on five hits – highlighted by a two-RBI single from Michaela Landers and a pair of run-scoring doubles from Allison Eicholtz and Soto. The Eagles erupted in the bottom of the third, plating nine runs to seal the run-rule win. Khloe Williams drove in three runs with a single, while Amiyah Currie (2 RBIs), Mia Ennis (RBI double), McKenzie Thomas (RBI walk), and Skyla Saito (RBI walk) all contributed to the offensive surge. Ennis led the way with a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate, while Soto (2-for-2), Eicholtz (2-for-2), and Landers (2-for-2) each tallied multi-hit games. Maci Barnes proved dominant in the circle – allowing just one hit while striking out five and walking none. The U.S. defense remained perfect behind her with another error-free outing.
Carrying the momentum into the second matchup of the day, the Red, White and Blue put up 12 runs on eight hits in the bottom of the first inning against Singapore. Soto (3-for-3) lit the spark for the offense with a three-RBI triple, followed by RBI hits from Saito (double), Johnson (triple), and Bronowicz (triple). Eicholtz capped the scoring with a solo shot – her second home run of the tournament – while Thomas added two hits and an RBI in the frame. Team USA tacked on three more runs in the third inning to seal the run-rule, thanks to an RBI single from Soto paired with a walk-off two-run long ball from Saito – her first of the tournament. In the circle, Lucy Reis was untouchable, tossing a three-inning perfect game with five strikeouts, while the defense once again displayed clean, error-free play.
Team USA maintained a .605 batting average across the two matchups, outscoring their opponents 30-0. With a combined 26 hits on the day, eight U.S. batters recorded multiple hits, and each batter reached base at least once.

Team USA improves to 5-0 after no-hitter against Australia at the WBSC U-15 Women’s World Cup
CARONNO PERTUSELLA, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) remains undefeated at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup after clinching a 7-0 shutout victory over Australia behind a no-hit performance in the circle from Braelyn Johnson and a balanced effort at the plate. The Eagles close out Opening Round as the No. 1 seed in Group B and will begin Super Round on Wednesday, July 2.
Following two scoreless innings, the U.S. bats came alive in the top of the third when Khloe Williams delivered a base hit to center to lock in the first run of the game. Team USA tacked on additional runs throughout the game thanks to RBI base hits off the bats of Ashleigh Bronowicz, Kyndall Johnson, Skyla Saito, Melody Soto and Williams. Michaela Landers posted a triple in the matchup, while two U.S. batters recorded multi-hit performance —including a perfect 3-for-3 performance from Bronowicz and a 3-for-4 outing from Williams.
In total, Team USA distributed 10 hits throughout the game, while Braelyn Johnson was lights out in the circle — tossing a complete-game no-hitter while striking out the final batter of the game to seal the win. The U.S. defense was flawless behind her, recording no errors to preserve the shutout.
The Red, White and Blue put on a strong performance throughout Opening Round of the 2025 WBSC U-15 Women’s World Cup with a .509 team batting average and a combined 56 hits, while outscoring its opponents 61-1. Leading the U.S. at the plate is Bronowicz with a .636 batting average followed by Landers (.583) and Allie Eicholtz (.556). The U.S. pitching staff of Maci Barnes, Leona Eichholz, B. Johnson, and Lucy Reis remains dominant with a combined 26 strikeouts – with Eichholz and B. Johnson leading the pack tossing 8 K’s each.

CARONNO PERTUSELLA, Italy — Capitalizing on consistent at-bats and solid defense, the U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) improved to 6-0 at the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s World Cup following a 7-0 run-rule victory over Mexico (five innings). Today’s Super Round win marks the Eagles’ fifth-consecutive shutout victory of the tournament as they continue their path to the podium.
The Red, White and Blue wasted no time getting on the board, pushing across two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to an RBI-double from Khloe Williams paired with a single from Allison Eicholtz that scored one, putting the Eagles ahead, 2-0. The momentum continued in the bottom of the second as Michaela Landers drove in another run with a double to left, extending the U.S. lead, 3-0. Despite a quiet third inning, Team USA added four more runs through the fourth and fifth innings to seal the run-rule in five. Williams once again delivered at the plate, finishing 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Landers (2-for-3) and Kyndall Johnson (2-for-2) also turned in multi-hit performances to help lead the 10-hit effort. In the circle, Lucy Reis kept Mexico at bay with a five-inning shutout – in which she retired four batters via strikeout while not issuing any walks. Holding steady behind her, the U.S. defense posted its fourth-straight error-free performance.

Team USA falls short to Japan in tight 3-2 battle at WBSC U-15 World Cup
LEGNANO, Italy — The U.S. U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) suffered its first loss of the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s Softball World Cup following a hard-fought 3-2 contest against Japan. Today’s loss brings the Eagles to an overall 6-1 record, with one Super Round matchup left to play.
The U.S. offense struggled to come alive in today’s matchups with a combined three hits on the day, with one hit apiece off the bats of Mia Ennis, Skyla Saito and Makenzie Thomas. Maci Barnes got the start in the circle for the Eagles, striking out one batter and allowing two earned runs through 3.2 innings before Leona Eichholz took over to collect two strikeouts in the loss.
Team Japan took the early lead in the bottom of the first after a pair of bases-loaded walks pushed two across, giving them a 2-0 edge. The Eagles answered back in the top of the third after Thomas doubled to center and later scored on a dropped fly ball hit by Ashleigh Bronowicz. Kyndall Johnson added a second run to tie it up in the top of the fifth after Mia Ennis laid down a bunt single — resulting in a throwing error that allowed Johnson to score. Japan saw their final run of the game in the bottom of the fifth following a fielding miscue from the U.S. defense that allowed one across. Despite runners on base in the top of the seventh, Team USA was unable to muster any runs, falling short to Japan, 2-3.

Team USA drops Game 3 of Super Round to Puerto Rico at WBSC U-15 World Cup; Advances to Bronze Medal Game
Caronno Pertusella, Italy — Closing out Super Round, the U-15 Women’s National Team (WNT) suffered its second loss of the 2025 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women’s World Cup after falling 0-4 to Puerto Rico. The setback moves the Eagles to a 6-2 overall record and puts Team USA in the Bronze Medal matchup slated for 3 p.m. CEST / 8 a.m. CT tomorrow against Mexico.
The U.S. offense struggled to find its rhythm, collecting only three hits on the day — with Ashleigh Bronowicz, Michaela Landers, and Lucy Reis each tabbing one. The U.S. pitching staff of Maci Barnes, Braelyn Johnson and Lucy Reis combined for six strikeouts through seven innings while allowing only three earned runs.
Puerto Rico took the lead in the top of the second with a single to plate one followed by a fielding miscue from the U.S. defense in the top of the third that allowed another run to cross – putting Puerto Rico ahead, 0-2. Quiet through the next three innings, Puerto Rico scored their final two runs in the top of the seventh with a pair of singles and a double to extend their lead. With the Gold Medal game on the line, the U.S. offense was unable to manufacture any runs in the bottom of the seventh, falling to Puerto Rico, 0-4.
Team USA will return to the field tomorrow, July 6, for the Bronze Medal matchup against Mexico at 3 p.m. CEST / 8 a.m. CT.

The Eagles close out the tournament with a 7-2 record and earn their second medal in U-15 World Cup history – earning gold in the 2023 edition.
The win was powered by a strong performance on both sides of the ball, highlighted by a three-run home run from McKenzie Thomas (4 RBI) and a no-hitter in the circle from Maci Barnes. Scoreless through the first three innings, Thomas broke the bats open in the bottom of the fourth with a three-run blast to left field before tacking on a fourth RBI via a bases-loaded walk in the sixth. Khloe Williams (2-for-3) added support at the plate with a single and a double, helping the U.S. offense stay steady through seven innings and tabbing the only multi-hit performance of the day.
Barnes was electric in the circle — striking out 10 and tossing a complete-game no-hitter to shut down the Mexico offense. Behind her, the Eagles’ defense remained sharp, playing error-free softball — leading the U.S. to a bronze medal victory in Italy.
The U.S. offense put up strong numbers throughout the tournament, accumulating a .386 team batting average and a combined 78 hits while outscoring its opponents 74-8. Leading the U.S. at the plate was Khloe Williams with a .526 batting average, followed by Michaela Landers (.458) and Ashleigh Bronowicz (.455). The U.S. pitching staff of Barnes, Leona Eichholz, Braelyn Johnson and Lucy Reis proved to be dominant throughout the tournament with six shutout wins and a combined 49 strikeouts, while allowing 23 hits through nine games.
