OKLAHOMA CITY – The U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) is set to host a food drive in conjunction with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma on Wednesday, Nov. 19, when the Eagles host an open scrimmage at Devon Park. Parking for the event is free starting at 4 p.m. with gates opening at 5 p.m. and the scrimmage starting around 6 p.m.

The open scrimmage is free to the public with fans encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for admission with donation boxes located at the entrance of Devon Park. Examples include peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, canned fruits, cereal, oatmeal, soup, canned sauces, canned or dry beans, and canned vegetables.

USA Softball will be holding a WNT pool training camp, Nov. 17-20, highlighted by the open scrimmage on Nov. 19. Twenty-six athletes will head to Oklahoma to train with head coach Patty Gasso on the University of Oklahoma campus in Norman and in Oklahoma City, the Softball Capital of the World ™ and home of the 2028 Olympic softball games.

Softball fans will have the opportunity to see 11 of the 16 athletes chosen to represent Team USA for the USA Down Under Series (Brisbane, Australia, Dec. 31, 2025 – Jan. 3, 2026) as well as a mixture of newcomers and veteran talent from the WNT pool at Devon Park on Nov. 19.
