OKLAHOMA CITY — USA Softball has announced an exciting new partnership with Rapsodo, a leader in softball pitching and hitting technology. As part of the collaboration, Rapsodo will provide four PRO 2.0 Softball units to support the national team and training facilities. This partnership aims to elevate not only the game but women’s sports, by bringing together two trailblazers committed to advancing the growth and development of softball.

Launched in 2024, the Rapsodo PRO 2.0 Softball is the first device designed specifically for softball to track key performance metrics. The device also has versatile views, video feedback and realistic softball simulations tailored to the sport’s unique dimensions.

As part of this partnership, USA Softball has developed preset Scripted Sessions templates exclusively in the Rapsodo Softball app that all PRO 2.0 users can take advantage of. This new feature from Rapsodo enables coaches to design customized training plans tailored to individual players, ensuring every repetition contributes toward overall performance improvement. That means athletes using the PRO 2.0 can follow the same training curriculum designed by USA Softball coaches that the best athletes in the world are using to level up their game.
The app will also introduce an update featuring the new “Live on Live” session type soon. This session simultaneously captures data from the hitter and the pitcher, allowing users to see how a hitter performs against different pitches. Automatically tracking both data sets in one practice session eliminates the need for manual comparisons.
