OKLAHOMA CITY — USA Softball is proud to announce the election of eight new members to its Board of Directors through 2026. These individuals will play a vital role in guiding the organization and ensuring that USA Softball continues to grow and succeed at all levels of the sport.
The appointments are the result of a careful selection process involving various committees and members of USA Softball. The USA Softball Nominating and Governing Committee takes the lead in recommending candidates for At-Large and Independent positions, which the Board then votes on. Regional Vice Presidents (VPs) are chosen by council members from their respective regions, serving a term through the Annual Council Meetings from 2024 to 2026. Additionally, athletes are elected by the Athletes Advisory Council (AAC) to represent their interests. Aubrey Leach and Nick Mullins have also been elected as Team USA Athletes’ Commission representatives and alternates for the upcoming 2025-2028 quadrennium.
“I’m excited to get this opportunity to work with USA Softball in another role outside of the field,” said newly elected Athlete Rep, Zac Shaw. “It’s also exciting knowing how much good this organization does for so many people and the opportunities it provides.”
