USA Softball Welcomes 27 Teams to Devon Park for the 2024 GOLD National Championships
OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball kicked off its annual GOLD National Championships Sunday afternoon at Devon Park. Day one included 15 games across four fields and four timeslots. The event saw fierce competition among the 16U and 18U divisions, with teams showcasing their skills and determination.
16U Division
- Mac N Seitz Thunder had a stellar start, defeating the Hawaii Strikers 4-3 and Gametime 27/28 National 4-3.
- Greenwave Elite, Impact Gold Soliz, NW Rampage 16A Searight, Oklahoma Athletics 07 Premier-McFadden, and Oklahoma Blaze 16U Gold each claimed victory in their sole game of the day.
- The Hawaii Strikers bounced back, claiming an 8-5 victory over Oklahoma Athletics Platinum 08-Kudrna.
- NW Rampage 16A Searight’s Faith Smith hit the only home run of day one.

- The Firecrackers Arkansas 18U-Lemley split the day, bouncing back in an 8-1 win over Oklahoma Pure Fastpitch Linsenmeyer.
- Firecrackers Arkansas 18U Lemley’s Libby May stood out on the mound, striking out a day one-high six batters.
