Each athlete at the 2023 All-American Games was selected to the event by their designated USA Softball Region to represent their geographic area, with additional at-large bids given to regions with the highest registration. The event ranks as one of the most prestigious in its age group – as the selection process creates a stage for elite-level competition and opportunities for athletes to gather from all across the country.
Opening day festivities kick off on Thursday, August 10, with team check-ins, practices and a variety of fun and engaging activities. All athletes are welcomed to an All-American Games alumni meet-and-greet, carnival-style games and vendor activations while competing in three individual skill events: base running, pitching and hitting with one team skill event – “around the horn”. The top three participants in each category will advance to compete live at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium – OGE Energy Field during the event’s highly-regarded Opening Ceremony at 5 p.m. CT – crowning a winner in each respective skill.
Friday and Saturday contests will be split among traditional pool-play and non-seeded pool-play games, with all non-seeded pool-play contests taking place on OGE Energy Field to ensure all participants have a chance to play at the legendary venue. Games are scheduled to kick off at 8 a.m. CT each day, with pool-play competition setting the table for single-elimination play on Sunday in which the 23-game bracket is slated to begin at 8 a.m. CT with the Championship decided at 8 p.m. CT at OGE Energy Field.
Tickets are available to purchase on-site starting at $10 for a daily pass and $30 for a weekend pass (Thu. – Sun.) Parking and entry for children eight and under are free for the event.
