NORTH MANKATO, Minn. – For the first time since 1990, the annual USA Softball Men’s Major Fast Pitch National Championship will welcome athletes, coaches, umpires and fans to the state of Minnesota. Bringing together some of the top Men’s Fast Pitch players in the world, the four-day tournament will welcome 20 teams to Caswell Softball Complex in North Mankato, Minn. from August 3-6.

Competition kicks off on Thursday, August 3 with three games at 7 p.m. CT followed by an additional contest at 9 p.m. CT. The three-game guarantee tournament will pick back up on Friday morning at 9 a.m. CT and will continue throughout the weekend with the Championship game taking place on Sunday, August 6 at 12 p.m. CT, followed by an “if-necessary” game at 2 p.m. CT.

Fans looking to attend the event can purchase either a daily pass ($10 – Adult; $6 – Seniors/Students) or a tournament pass ($20 – Adults; $15 – Seniors/Students) at the gate while children ages nine and under are free. Live streaming will also be available for purchase through MuscoVision.com.

North Mankato will see many familiar faces return to USA Softball’s top Men’s Fast Pitch event as 17 teams from last year’s National Championship are slated to return – including a seven-time champion that is toeing the line of history.

Reigning as National Champions in 2021 and 2022, the NY Gremlins enter this year’s competition with hopes of becoming the first team in the 21st century to three-peat twice at this specific event after clinching three consecutive titles from 2016-2018. Since 2009, the NY Gremlins carry a 61-16 record, highlighted by seven National Championships and a 7-0 (five innings) run-rule victory over the J&B Bombers in the final game of the 2022 Men’s Major Fast Pitch National Championship.

The Men’s Major Fast Pitch National Championship enters its 91st year of continuing the tradition of elite Men’s Fast Pitch competition while growing the game all around the world. First taking place at the World’s Fair in Chicago, Ill. in 1933, the elite Men’s Fast Pitch National Championship has been held across 19 states throughout its near century of play, with the event most recently held in South Bend, Ind. last year.
