Career Highlights
- In February of 2025, Coach Gasso was named the head coach of the U.S. Women’s National Team for the 2025-2028 quad.
- Has been involved with the WNT program since 2018, as she led the U.S. Women’s Elite Team during the World Cup of Softball. Gasso has also participated in various USA Softball training camps and selection trials.

- Oklahoma has won eight Division I NCAA national championships (2000, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024). It is the only program to achieve four consecutive national titles and one of three to win more than two championships.
- Gasso has led her team to the Women’s College World Series 17 times during her tenure and has reached the postseason in all 30 seasons, except for 2020 when there was no tournament.
- After the 2024 NCAA conference realignment, Coach Gasso concluded her successful tenure in the Big 12 as the league’s all-time winningest coach, for both men’s and women’s sports. During her time, she claimed 15 regular-season conference titles and nine postseason league championships. Her teams finished in second place or higher 24 times in the 28 years since the Big 12’s inception in 1996.
- Gasso and her coaching staff were awarded the Speedline/NFCA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year three times in a row from 1999 to 2001. They also received the national honor in the years 2000, 2013, 2016, 2017, and 2023. Over their 29 seasons, Gasso and her staff have claimed the regional award 15 times, with the most recent recognition occurring in 2023. Additionally, Gasso has been named the Big 12 Coach of the Year 15 times, specifically in the years 1996, 1999, 2000, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
